Ik beschrijf mezelf als: I was part of the 'punk scene" back in the 80s but have lived a traditional life since then. What I miss was the fun and loyalty of friends that were like me years ago. I'm 5'7", with long dark hair and blue eyes. I'm not really looking for a partner but just want to make friends of both genders. Grew up in Colorado on skiis, and I am a certified scuba diver. Love to read, my favorite book is Lord of the Rings (hence my username). Worked in the environmental field for many years as first a chemist then promoted to environmental technical consultant. (although please don't judge me as being a "nerd"...and I dont care whether you have a degree or not) I'm married with 2 kids, a cat and dog. I saw the ad for this site and thought I'd see if I can meet new and interesting friends!
