Jag skulle beskriva mig själv som Quiet. OCD. Fades into the woodwork easily. Often mistaken for bar staff.

Okay, so that's more or less true a lot of the time.

Point form "me":
- amusing to talk to
- intensely curious about anything that crosses my path
- addicted to solving puzzles
- unable to resist helping someone out if i can, although i'm not a walkover
- a little bit absent minded occasionally
- sometimes a bit introspective, but i try to keep the soul searching to a minimum
- easy to make laugh
- only capable of posing for horrible pictures where i'm not smiling
- often given to getting away, even for a short time - think something like "hey, i'll think i'll ride around Lake Simcoe this weekend!" without checking if Lake Simcoe is able to be circumnavigated first
- more fond of patios and pubs, though i do go to clubs when the mood strikes
- often pick campgrounds exclusively based on how good the swimming is
- have recently discovered the joy of welding. I think it's a guy thing. Make ludicrous trinkets that my 11th grade shop teacher would have shaken his head at.
- write SQL poetry. That's a geek inside joke. really. It's funny. You just don't get it.
- i have a tattoo. It covers most of my back. And shoulders. And i'm working on my front.
- i like red wine. really, i do. All sorts. I even go on wine tours through the Niagara region. - However, nothing beats a nice cold beer on a lazy sunday afternoon.
- Additionally, stout and cider in the same pint glass is terribly nummy.
- i truly believe that steaks are meant to be served, at most, medium rare. If you want well-done, i will grieve for the perfectly good piece of beef you're ruining. Loudly.
- i am not down to earth. In fact, i consistently float about 5mm off the ground. It's just something you should know.

Also addicted to music - just about any kind of music, though i'm partial to stuff where the lyrics have meaning. You know, beyond "yo baby, that's a damn fine trunk you got your junk in". Although to be fair, some EBM and Industrial doesn't have the best lyrics in the world.

I've pretty much matured, with the accompanying "mature" stuff, like a house/car/steady good paying job - but i simply refuse to "grow up". Still have fun tubing at the cottage, though it hurts more, for longer, nowadays. :D

Pretty much a "what you see is what you get" guy - though a bit less scary looking in person.

Looking for someone who either giggles or groans at my jokes, doesn't mind the occasional "let's see where this road goes!", can keep up when i make a mental 180, understands that "plans are what people make while life is passing you by" is a philosophy, not a way of life, and doesn't mind being the occasional designated driver. if you can drive stick, you're totally amazing. :D

And lastly, as for "dating"... Long term is what i'm really looking for - i just don't think, statistically, that the first person i meet on here is going to be the long term relationship. Although, pure random chance says that it's just as possible as the 50th person. Anyway, the point being, "dating" is a prerequisite for that long term to happen. I'm not sure why i had to explain all that.

Things that bug me:
- unleaded fuel - is there a point in calling it "unleaded" any more? Is anyone selling leaded fuel? Is leaded even a word?
- unrealized thunderstorm forecasts - i can't remember the last time we actually GOT a thunderstorm when it was forecast.
- people who ask for someone with a college education, and have multiple spelling/grammatical mistakes in their profile. Nice glass house you got there. And a rock! Go ahead and whip that bad boy!
- that some religions can't just accept i'm going to hell, and leave it at that

Why am i on a Goth Dating Site? Well, duh, i like goth girls. (note: if you're offended by the nomenclature, you probably take yourself too seriously. Back! Back i say! I have glitter and i'm not afraid to use it!!!)
