I Would Describe Myself As I used to be a very shy person, but as I’ve gotten older I’ve realized that I’m not in this world to live up to anyone else’s expectations but my own. I know where I stand on my beliefs, and I don’t allow myself to be pushed around anymore. I’m quiet when I don’t have anything to say, I’ve never found mindless chatter attractive. I’m independent to a fault, although I still have my moments where I just need someone to reassure me the world isn’t falling apart. I’m very blunt, and most of the time painfully honest. If you can’t take a friend that tells you the truth, then I’m not the right person to be talking to. I believe your word is one of the very few things in life that will ever mean anything- promises mean a great deal to me. I ask a gazillion questions about everything- Not because I’m trying to be annoying or mocking, but because I’m genuinely interested. I’d much rather be outside hiking or watching it rain than cooped up inside wasting time staring out a window. My animals mean the world to me, and I’ve found that they make much better friends than most of the people I’ve met thus far. All in all, I’m a pretty simple person. Material possessions and new trends mean nothing to me. I just want to get through this life happy, knowing that I was always true to myself.
