Je me décrirais comme My name is Michelle, my Brad and I recently moved from Seattle to Aberdeen and have yet to make any new acquaintances closer to home. We moved into our house with our two wonderful dogs (Terror and Polly, both girls) this last winter. We would very much like to meet some good people around the area. Better still if there are common interests.

We are easily considered Gothic, Bat-caver sorts. Especially to those who see our gargoyle collection. (The nice local librarian was wondering where I purchased my interesting stockings the other day, if that says anything).

Music is very important to us. Our favorites include Bauhaus, Siouxie and the Banshees, the Sisters of Mercy, Joy Division, Tones on Tales, Love and Rockets, Jesus Mary Chain, Velvet Underground, Ministry, Front 242, Skinny Puppy, Devo, Beethoven, Punk Rock... I really get into Opera too.

I could just go on here, but I think you get the idea, and you are more than welcome to start a conversation or ask something if it pleases you, That is the idea I think...

We both love David Lynch movies. After that Brad's favorite genre is probably horror and mine is typically period pieces or old classics, though we both enjoy a some of both. I also go for a bit of comedy, the likes of Monty Python or The Young Ones. We are also fans of off-beat animation. (We own every Ren & Stimpy episode, and our collection in that category could also go on).

We do spend time reading. I love my vampire novels and my old classics, whether by the Bronte's, Poe, or another. We both like graphic Novels. He likes a wide range, but finds many favorites on the DC Vertigo label... Such as Lucifer, Sandman, Hellblazer, etc. and of course, who wouldn't love JTHM and Lenore?

As far as our personalities go, I could tell you that we are very nice, but the fact is... you would just need to find that out on your own. I have my doubts about the ability of truly knowing a person online even with time. I will say that I tend to be a bit quieter, shyer than Brad, but regardless, I am the talkative one when you know me.

As for appearance... Terror, Brad and I all have Jet Black hair. Polly is a blond, like the niece on the munsters. She doesn't realize though, so please... don't make her feel different. She is such a good girl.

We are both big fans of Halloween too.

I'm really not sure how else to describe us, I hope this helps at least. I guess I could add that we go grocery shopping at very odd hours...?

Un premier rendez-vous idéal, ce serait N/A We aren't exactly looking for dates, we love each other that way. If you intend to "date" one of us, it wouldn't work and you'd be wasting time. We would like to meet people that we could become friends with. We don't have many set ideas per say, maybe just meeting comfortably with both of us and if all works out... We can decide from there, right?

Mon idée du fun Good question. The answer to that question can vary greatly, and since there are two of us, it can have a lot to do with compromise, right? If we had a guest... It might be different still. Why not ask and find out?

Recherchant un/e Que recherchez-vous chez l'âme sœur?

Que recherchez-vous? We are hoping to meet people of character. By this I mean people with an amount of pride, dignity, honor, integrity, honesty... but AREN'T WE ALL?!?!

We would be happy if the person(s) that we come to know are good people, I'm sure you know what I mean... Maybe? We I'm not referring to popular cultures standards of good vs. shitty, something a bit more realistic. We try to be these things ourselves, and like to see these things in others. We aren't that conventional, but we do have our own values.

We aren't concerned much with looks. What we care about, as I've said, is personality. All we ask is for a reasonable amount of respect really... I think that word alone can cover quite a lot, and we hope to return the favor.
