Perhaps... this will be the last poem I will ever have written, perhaps my final last goodbye... my last verse of a love spoken estranged.
There... where my courage in its final moments, to certain death thus struggles due, clenched jowls Life, Love dealt me one final devastating Blow.
There... where fear begins, in the invisible line, at the border's edge between Love and Madness... finds my thoughts trapped in doubt trapped in despair. The night... feels cold with the chills of Death's dear bitter rapture, a silent trot on its ebony horse, a Pegasus of the abyss much darker, than a bygone thought fore ever done, stretches to a perennial suffering and the silence inclined to drag behind it chains of pain tethered to my last goodbye. This night... Greater than my shameful penitence, profound is the silence, scorned is the Moon that hides its face from me, the Stars trembling have fleeted in terror of tonight's obscurity... and it terrorizes me much the same as Loneliness. If then my heart still beats by morning... it beats my love for her remained, fearing to forget her, fearing to loose my thoughts of her, the haunt of her touch on the surface of my skin.... erased from my memories... scared of a tragedy... Loss.
