Jeg vil beskrive meg selv som I am a single mother to 2 girls (one who's flown the nest). I'm a very sentimental Hallmark whore. I am very eco-conscious, buy in bulk, recycle, compost – Waste not, Want not. In my ‘spare’ time I enjoy the ‘old-fashioned’ past-times of sewing, gardening, home-brewing meade and tonics, reading, cooking, canning, mushroom hunting, hiking, camping, festivals and being outdoors in general. My past lives leave me fascinated with Medieval history, folk music and mythology of European/Middle Eastern, Celtic and Native American descent. I am an Epicist and Tolkien nerd (still play D&D and participate at Ren Faires) and consider myself to be a Hobbit and Elf-friend.

I finally fulfilled my long term goal and dream to homestead on land and create a tribal community with my dearest friends and family. I want to re-connect with the earth and rhythms of nature and live as sustainably and modestly as possible. Nature and Conservation are of the Utmost importance to me. I find it sad that I have to relearn these skills, which to our Ancestors was routine. Spiritualy I consider my Self an Animist. If a deer crosses my path, there's symbolism. My main totems mate for life... The reality is that I live in the middle of nowhere and must now resort to sites such as this to meet people... what's your story?
