- I Would Describe Myself As I was an archaeological technician who has felt the Sun's rays burn in an unforgiving desert...and whose surveys and hikes in the desert...have been like sacred journeys, trying to find the human mystery hidden beyond the horizon or beneath the sands. Of late, archaeology has become no more than "necrophilia, " so now I venture onto this GothScene.com, looking for another type of warmth - among the living...and ideally...a good time with them. By day, I'm a mild mannered novice archivist at a museum or an anthropology/ humanities/ writing tutor at a local university. I love books and own many (especially cheap books from library friendship shops). I like to read about history and anthropology, magic and rituals, mythology(-graphy), folklore, philosophy, &c. Occasionally, I like to shake, twist, and kick on the dance floor at a Gothic-Industrial club (after a rum or two). Other times, a brilliant sunset suits my fancy with all those pink-red anti-twilight arcs and listen to trancy, ambient music that evokes deep thoughts.
