Ik beschrijf mezelf als: I'm an artist. I think about stuff a LOT. I work in theatre so sometimes I have to travel for my work. (I've got steady work in Phoenix til the spring of '15 at least.) I just graduated from the Welding course at MCC because metal and leather and masks and sparks are a lot of fun to me. :) I also just finished writing a book about art philosophy, science philosophy, and spirituality, and I'm looking for a literary agent for it now. ___

I never try to go out with women who I wouldn’t want to be friends with otherwise. I like hiking, camping, dancing, theatre, staying home and cooking meals together, going for long walks at night, and sitting up talking about the things we think about until we realize it’s getting light outside. I like science fiction, horror movies, science, drag shows… anything that stretches people’s mental horizons. I don't drink much or do drugs at all. ___

I live my life like it's an extreme sport, always pushing my mind and body to their limits. I'm always doing something, or thinking about something, or usually both. If you really want to get to know me, we HAVE to do something active. We could talk about complicated stuff, or rock climbing gyms are cool too. If thinking at your normal pace usually offends people, I will buy you dinner at your favorite restaurant just to talk to you. THEN we'll have a good starting point for hanging out. ___

I'm looking to meet women in their 20s because I've never been married, don't have kids, and have never owned a house. When I meet women in their 30s, being in our 30s is pretty much all we have in common. Strong minded independent women are the only kind I'm attracted to, and if you've made it to your mid to late 20s without having kids, that's probably what you are.

Mijn Idee Van Plezier is Anything that pushes my mind and body to their limits. Hiking, camping, extreme sports, dancing, long walks at night. Conversations that could go on forever because we keep discovering that the things we disagree on are just two different interpretations of more profound things we do agree on. Feeling so passionate about creating something that I want to spend 80 hours a week or more working on it. Doing most of the housework for a girlfriend who feels that passionately about creating something. Not worrying about the housework not getting done when we both feel that passionate about creating things at the same time.

Wat zoek je? First of all, you either have to be an artist or you have to love art so much you want to be an intimate part of the life of an artist. That means an unusual combination of highly intelligent, highly educated, hard work, long hours, and a relatively low income. Physically healthy enough to be able to hike 2 or 3 miles on a whim. Intelligent, relatively mentally healthy, and compassionate. Passionate about the things you do. Sympathetic to social justice struggles. And Atheist, Agnostic, Secular Humanist, or some other term for talking about the most profound things in life without using religious words, and without putting other people down for using religious words.
