Ik beschrijf mezelf als: Relatively incognito metalhead since my cousin introduced me to AC/DC and Judas Priest in the early '80s. Never had long hair, got good grades in school, and was a competitive swimmer. Have gotten along with stoners, jocks, and nerds since high school, but metal has always been a constant, and my best friends have always shared my love of heavy music. I keep up with current trends and try to listen to as much new stuff as old. I support the local scene and go to as many shows as I can find time and money for.

Een perfecte eerste date is Talking over coffee or a light meal (sushi, maybe). Sharing stories that we can both relate to. Learning just enough about my date to make her desirable but still a little mysterious.
Wat ik altijd al eens heb willen proberen: Performing live on stage. Not karaoke but something that's actually performing. Stand-up comic or rhythm guitar player (maybe bass player) are my best shots. It *will* happen... hopefully before I'm in a nursing home.

Well, I guess the second part doesn't sound that simple, but cryonics continues to advance. If that happiness can be shared with someone you're attracted to on a physical and emotional level, I think that's the most you can hope for.

Wat zoek je? Someone who shares a lot of my interests but has a mind of her own, friends of her own, goals and desires of her own. I don't want to sound negative, but I don't need a clone or someone who aspires to be my "ideal" mate. I worship myself enough; I want a partner who worships herself for who she is and likes me for who I am. Self-love is okay, as long as you never take yourself too seriously. If that sounds ridiculous, we might not "get" each other.
